Greetings from South Asia Social Forum- SASF Bangladesh 2011!

We are expressing our heartiest thanks to you all for your support and contribution.

We very glad to inform and invite you to the Closing Ceremony of South Asia Social Forum-SASF, Bangladesh 2011 today 22 November 2011 at 3pm at Shadhinota Stombha (Independence Tower Plaza), Shohrawardi Uddyan. This ceremony will start with a Mass Gathering. Then SASF organizers will announce the Dhaka Declaration. The event will be followed by a Cultural Event.

Individual organizations, Teacher of DU and Dignitaries will be there to announce the ending of this five day long grand event on Dhaka University Campus. Your presence will certainly make our program significant and graceful.

Join The SASF Rally On the 18th Of November 2011

On 18 Nov, Friday, the First SASF rally will start from Shahbag Jadughar sharp at 03 PM, will reach Shahid Minar via Press club at 04-15 PM. At 4.30 PM, the Inaugural ceremony will start at Shahid Minar.

Thousands of people from different walks of life will join the colorful rally
depicting the aspirations, cry and need of people through different decorative motifs.

The registration for the South Asia Social Forum-SASF event (18-22 November, 2011) is now open through South Asia Social Forum Website. The registration is available for three categories – in the capacity of individual, organization and events.

For unavoidable circumstances the online payment system could not be introduced in Bangladesh. Please proceed for registration without payment. Information about how to pay will be conveyed later on.

The process of organizing the South Asia Social Forum in Bangladesh is taken ahead by an open body. All the individuals and organizations participating in the process of preparation are considered as members of this open body. The body involves members from Bangladesh and other South Asian nations and states. Anyone who participates in the on-going preparatory process, in meetings organized by Organization committee or self organized preparation activities and upholds the WSF Charter of Principles is automatically considered as an organizing member.
